Meet Dr. Wambaugh

William C. Wambaugh, DDS

As a dentist, I see myself as a health professional and part of the community. I have the honor to personally serve and improve the lives of my friends and neighbors, and that is something I am truly grateful for. I treat each patient like part of my family, and enjoy providing the highest level of care for them.

Education and Continuing Education

Before becoming a dentist, I attended Texas Tech University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. I then went on to the Baylor College of Dentistry, graduating with my DDS.

I always enjoy learning about new dental methods and technologies that will improve the care I give my patients. I complete over 50 hours of continuing education a year with emphasis on improving patient care and services for predictable long term success. As part of my continuing studies, I am an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, International Congress of Implantologists, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Brazos Valley Dental Society.

In the Practice

I love what I do, and enjoy helping my community live healthier, happier lives through dentistry. I provide conservative, long-term solutions to dental concerns for my patients. The cosmetic dentistry we perform results in beautiful smiles that change lives.

My patients are often surprised at what we are able to do to improve their oral health and comfort, and I love seeing their appreciation for my work. Every smile I receive after treatment means the world to me, and I wouldn't trade my occupation for the world. I have the opportunity to work with talented team members who truly care about our patients, and want them to have the best and most rewarding experience in our practice. Family and Community

I was born and raised in Midland, TX, and have lived and worked in The Woodlands since 1980. I am happily married to Libby Wambaugh, and we have three daughters named Ashleigh, Abby, and Allison. We also have one son-in-law, Scott, and one wonderful grandson, Kyle!

When I'm not in the office, I enjoy cycling, fishing, traveling, and of course spending time with my family. I am also active in the community, volunteering at the South County Community Clinic, and as a Steward at Hopepointe Church.
